…a righteous man

We don’t know much about Joseph, Jesus’ father. 

But one thing we do know is he was a righteous man. 

Any one of us could stand proud if that was our epitaph.  Joseph stood by his standards of faith.  He was a man of moral fortitude.  He treated people with forethought and grace.  He was a man that did not act out of feelings, but instead thought out his actions and acted in accord with his moral conduct. 

Joseph could be counted on to think things through and then make the fair and just decision. 

We know this by his standards and by his actions. 

We don’t know much about Joseph, but in a few words, we can know the heart of the man.
