A Steady Anchor for Your Marriage - A Nighttime Prayer

“And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” – Deuteronomy 31:8

Please Pray:

Father God, the One who created Adam and Eve for the first earthly marriage, please bless our world with better relationships, especially my own marriage. Give me Your hope, guidance, and wisdom to be a loving partner to my spouse. Have mercy on me when I’ve failed to serve You in marriage or in preparation for marriage. Let me look solely to You for Your power and grace in the long haul. Teach me, by Your Word and Your Holy Spirit, how to be sacrificial, faithful, selfless, and honoring to my partner. Call my spouse and me to serve You as we serve each other, and let us build our relationship on faith in You. I pray you will fill both of us with Your love. Be our anchor—the One who steadies our marriage, reminds us daily of our commitment to each other, and holds us together in harmony for the length of our days. Bless us, O Lord, with Your loving presence and peace. In the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
