ANOTHER ACCUSER?

| Like king Ahasuerus, records are kept by many. God keeps records of both good and bad deeds (Rev 20:11-15). One reason for keeping both is so that they can be used to determine your eternal reward. He keeps your negative records so that you cannot deny them on the day of judgement. On the other hand, Satan keeps records of only your evil deeds. He does this to be able to have evidence against you while daily accusing you before God (Rev 12:10).
Whenever you are tempted to sin, be certain that at least one demon is around you ready to record your reaction. If you overcome the temptation, he will erase it. If you compromised, he will jubilate and retain the recorded spiritual video tape and pass it to the relevant section – Accusation Department. As a bonafide child of God, that satanic department must have nothing incriminating against you. One impossible assignment that department had was to shoot just one video of Christ sinning. They tried up to the end of His life but could get nothing incriminating against Him (Jn 14:30). Satan does not record your good deeds. Every good thing you do reminds him that you are living like God your Father. It also reminds him of his evil nature. Oh he hates good deeds! If you are full of good works like Jesus your Master, Satan cannot be comfortable in your presence. You are identified by the records you keep. If you are capable of keeping only negative records, it shows you have the same nature as the devil. Satan never erases a negative deed done even if you have asked and received forgiveness from God. Why keep the records of wrongs? It is so that they can be used as evidence against the person. Do you list someone’s evil deeds with dates, and at the end refuse to forgive or show the individual mercy ? It is easier to keep records of wrongs than those of right deeds. To make it to Heaven, you must eradicate your black book of wrongs. If you retain anyone’s wrong doing, Heaven will retain yours. But each time you retain a wrong deed in your heart, you become another accuser of the brethren like the devil. |
