Seeking the approval of people is a road that leads to pain, brokenness, and insecurity. The approval of people is a deceptive and illusive pursuit that always leaves us wanting more.If you are too concerned with what people thin of you, it will distract you from hearing what your loving and merciful God thinks of you. Through God's word, the Cross and the Holy Spirit, God is constantly trying to show us our value. But striving for the "endorsement" of humanity creates a noise that drowns out the voice of God.Here is a truth I've found to be true: When we make honoring God our goal, we often win the approval of man. But when we make the approval of man our goal, we rarely honor God.
