Luke 9 vs 1

Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

The Bible says Jesus gave his disciples power and authority over all devils to cure diseases.
Power is different from authority.
Power is the ability to influence an action, while authority is the position that enables you to influence that action.
As a disciple of Christ, you can also walk in this power and authority over all devils.
Any power that does not recognise God as the Lord and Saviour is a devil. These include idolaters, ritualists, occultists, astrologers, and witchcraft.
Power and authority are, however, like money. If you do not use it, it will not be of any benefit to you.
So, use your power and authority today in Jesus’ name.
