Hebrews 13 vs 1
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
- Be good to strangers. It is a quality of a good Christian.
- You are not a Christian because you attend church or read your Bible.
- Your character and how you relate to people, especially to the poor.
- Do not despise the poor.
- Love people that you cannot derive help from.
- Jesus Christ associated with the poor. He was on the side of the poor. He dined and drank with the poor.
- As Christians, make friends with the poor and not the rich alone.
- Let there be brotherly love with the poor.
- Be a good Samaritan.
- Receive the spirit of giving in Jesus’ name.
- Receive the spirit of Christ in Jesus’ name. Amen.
