Beware: The Holy Spirit lives inside you

1 Cor. 3 vs. 16:

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy, for the temple of God is Holy, which temple ye are

Have you ever realize the fact that the Spirit of God is living inside you. Do you know the implication? It simply means that as a child of God, you have a dual personality. Two spirits are living in you. The Spirit of God and your Spirit.

The implication of this is that you must know who you are. You are carrying the personality of God. Anywhere you are, anything you are doing, you are carrying the personality. It also simply that since God dwells in Holy places you are a Church. At all times, whether sleeping eating, walking, talking, working or dancing know surely that there is another personality inhabiting your body.

If you are carrying the presence of God, then you have some spiritual responsibility. It is just like a woman who is carrying a new born baby strapped at her back or chest. She has to be careful where she goes or what she does in order not to put the life of the baby at risk.

In the same way, you have to be conscious of the spirit of God living inside you are discharge some responsibilities in order to sustain His Holy presence

1. Watch where you walk or go, and avoid worldly environments like Casinos and Night clubs. Don’t go anywhere the Holy Spirit would not like to see you, assuming you could physically see the Spirit of God.
2. Don’t listen to any music. The spirit of God inside you cannot dance to any music; therefore listen only to the music God will be interested in dancing.
3. Watch what you eat. Avoid polluted food that has been sacrificed to idols as this will grieve the Holy Spirit inside you
4. Tame your tongue. Watch your language and control your anger. The Holy Spirit that is living inside you is a meek spirit, once you allow anger to overcome you, the Holy Spirit walks away from you and this gives entrance for the evil spirit.
5. Generally, watch your behaviour, manner, and attitudes, fully knowing that you are carrying the presence of the Holy Spirit.
