Bible study: How to overcome satanic attacks and oppression

TOPIC PRAYER 1

INTODUCTION:- When we give our lives to Jesus Christ, we begin to reign and rule with Him through prayers. (Rev 5:10) we have been made kings to rule. Child of God has the promise of God’s word that his prayers must be answered. John 14:14, 16:24 and 16:23. Most Christians are suffering because they have refused to learn the art of praying. Remember that our prayers are always to the father in the name of Jesus. John16:23

God’s word makes it clear to everyone who has accepted Jesus Christ that we engaged in warfare 2 Corinth 10:3-4. In warfare you are more secure when you attack than when you are always on the defensive. We must begin to pray the prayers of attacking our enemies.

Some weapons of attack we can use are:

• 1. The name of Jesus – Prov. 18:10
• 2. The Blood of Jesus – Rev. 12:11, Exodus 12:13
• 3. The Angels of God – Psalm 91:10-11
• 4. The Fire of God – Psalm 16:15

 We must learn to locate the enemies by specifically addressing them before using the weaponagainst them.

It also important understanding that we have been authorized by God to deal with the enemies in his name. It will be very wrong therefore to ask God to come and cast out our enemies.

Question: – why do people pray and ask God to come and bless the food they want to eat? Can they bless the food in Jesus name?

• 1. Lord put upon me the spirit of prayer
• 2. I come against laziness and worldliness and anything that wants to rub me of a healthy prayer life.
