Commentary on Matthew 26: Love of money, root of all evil

Matthew 26 vs. 15 – and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty silver coins

Judas betrayed his master Jesus for thirty pieces of Silver.
Judas covenanted with the enemies of Jesus because he was greedy for a monetary reward.
Judas destroyed his destiny because of his love for money.
Several Christians are still falling to the error of Judas. They are asking the same question?

What will you give me if I sleep with you?
What will you give me if I give you that Job?
What will you give me if I give you that contract?
What will you give me if I help you to pass that examination?
What will you give me if I approve your documents/papers?
What will you give me if I give your child admission to college?
What will you give me if I approve your promotion?
What will you give me if I forge papers/documents for you?
What will you give me if I enter a contract marriage with you?
What will you give me if I bear false witnesses/tell lies against your opponents?
What will you give me if I award underserved marks for you?
What will you give me if I will pray for you?
What will you give me for bending rules to benefit you?
