Mark 10 vs. 46-52
If you wish to successful in life, you need to focus on Jesus and don’t allow yourself to be distracted. The world is hypocritical and inconsistent. The World follows the winning team and abandons losers.
There is a popular saying that failure is an orphan but success has many fathers. The crowd that welcomed Jesus to Jericho with shouts of Hosanna, also accompanied him to the Calvary with shouts of crucify himIf you follow what people are saying, you may not succeed. Follow the truth of Christ.
Follow what the Bible is saying. Stick to what the Holy Spirit is telling you to do and stubbornly ignore all distractions. The people that shouted Blind Bartimeaus down where he started to cry for divine attention are the same people that informed him to come forward for his miracle.
If Bartimeaues had listened to the world, he would had kept silent and missed his miracle.
He rather chooses to listen to the word, and kept crying to Jesus until he achieves his goal.
Focus on God. You cannot succeed by the standards of the world which keeps changing. Study the word of God and stand on the word rater than the world.
