Tips and Tricks for writers
Maximize your potential as a writer on Crossmap with these basic tips
Create lists. Click the list buttons to format it as a bullet list or numbered list.
Create quotes. Select any text in the editor and click on the quote icon in the menu to make it a block quote.
Embed videos. Click on the video icon and add the video link. Then click the ‘Embed’ button.
Embed social media posts. Click “< >” and add the Twitter link.
Use code blocks with syntax highlighting. Click “{ }” to include inline code blocks in your story by putting text between backticks.
Embed Images. Click on the image icon and upload the image file. Then, click the 'Confirm' button. First image will be your featured image in your story.
Publish story After writing a story, please click “Next” on the top in the left part. Please add up to 5 topics relevant to your story and click the Publish button. Adding relevant topics to your post will help tell readers and our curators what your story is about.
Import your story from elsewhere. Please contact us at blogs@crossmap.com, Our team will help to move your works simply.
Navigate to the "Studio" section To access the Studio, please click the arrow button located directly beside your avatar on the top right-hand side. You'll find a comprehensive overview of all the stories you've both drafted and published, along with statistics for each story. Stats are shown under the stats tab. While it currently displays the number of views, additional statistics will be incorporated in the near future.
