Christian woman-qualities of a virtuous woman

Posted on November 25, 2008 Updated on November 25, 2008

It is quite pathetic today that many a people live that their life’s only for the gains of this world. They pursue physical, material success, leaving the soul and spirit quite famished. To such people, life consists in the abundance of their possessions.

Significantly, the more money you have, the more clothes you buy, the more material things you possess, the more food you eat, the less of the power and fullness of God you retain. This is because these earthly things have taken the place of Christ, the sources of God’s fullness.

Christ rightly said in John 6:27 “Labour not for the meet which perisheth, but that meet which endureth unto  everlasting life.

As you work every day to meet material needs are you vessel in God’s hands? Is your life transformed through faith In the atoning blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? You need to humbly surrender your life in acknowledgment of His Lordship. Fulfilling this condition acquaints you with Christ and gives you ample privileged to be used of God.

The Lord is gracious and faithful to impart unto those possessed by God’s vessels. To be a vessel in God’s hands, you must be a woman of:-

1.       Secret prayer – to be successful as a working woman and strike a balance in your day to day activities as the concerned your home and the church you need to be a woman of bended knees who knows how to contract heaven

2.       Searching purity – this implies that your life must be characterized by holiness. They that bear the vessel of the Lord must be clean(Isaiah 52:11)

3.       Supernatural power – you need this quality of power to withstand any situation and to overcome the devil with the authority of your faith in your community among colleagues.

4.       Strong persuasion – you will be a stable in doctrine and satisfied with the revelation of God’s word.

5.        Scriptural preaching – you will be a woman of the word, able to rightly divide the word of truth as you are taught.

6.       Saintly purpose – your single ambition   will be to please God in all times.

7.       Spiritual perception – you are able to understand what the will of the Lord is and know when to do or say things.

8.        Sound principles – your guiding rules and conduct must be scripturally based.

Vessels in God’s hands are vessels unto honour, sanctified, separated, committed and suitable for the Master’s use (2 Timothy 2:19-21). “Who then is willing to consecrate his (her) service that day unto the lord? (1 chronicles 29:5) God is looking for such vessels who will be melted into circulation. Will you surrender yourself to be used?

By His grace, you will be enlisted to fight this righteous battle and win lost souls to Christ
