Do You Want a Sign from God? - A Nighttime Prayer


Then Gideon said to God, "Please don't be angry with me, but let me make one more request. Let me use the fleece for one more test. This time let the fleece remain dry while the ground around it is wet with dew." So that night God did as Gideon asked. The fleece was dry in the morning, but the ground was covered with dew. -- Judges 6:36-40 (NLT)

Please Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, sometimes in my selfishness I’m desperate for some sort of indication from you that things will go in my favor. It is in these moments that I need to take a step back and wait on You implicitly and patiently for the guidance I am seeking. My hope is that you will show me Your way in Your timing and help me to work through my impatience for my desires to happen right now. I ask that you would give me patience and that You would reveal the sign I am seeking when the time is right. And if it is not your will, I ask that you will show me why in Your all-loving way. Oh how I love you Lord for your almighty wisdom and truth. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
