Encounter the Lioness Awakes is a story about two grade 5 girls, Zoe and Lacey, who are in the same friendship group. Zoe has an encounter with God in her bedroom, calling her to help disadvantaged kids in her school. It leads her to become friends with an outcast, Dylan. This kind act infuriates her friend Lacey, who excludes Zoe from their friendship group. Through a series of God-encounters, Zoe and Lacey’s friendship is restored and God reveals to them their unique calling, purpose, and destiny.
Their personal encounters with God anchor both Zoe and Lacey in their identity in Christ, their inner transformations birthed by God. Encounters are then outworked into their school environments. Encounter the Lioness will take you on a journey with Zoe, Lacey and God.
