Focus on God's ability, not your vulnerability - Raising Zion

We can either live focused on our vulnerability or on God’s ability. Often naive believers say “I’m only human”. That’s stating the obvious.

We are all humans. What’s the point of saying something we already know and can see?

Sin, fear, disobedience, love of money will never let anyone know God. It focuses on the self. When believers stay in these states they’ll lose the vision God called them into as well.

When we live each day knowing God, acknowledging His power in our lives then we begin to live the supernatural. Then we live the will of God, as He opens heavens to strengthen us.

There’s nothing good we can do without God’s love (1 Corinthians 13:3)
There’s nothing good we can do without Jesus (John 15:5).

Acknowledge God’s ability, rather than your lack

When we learn to acknowledge God’s love and need for abiding in God’s word daily during prayer, bible meditation and fellowship, our lives are bound to manifest the freedom in Christ.

Apostle Paul was a high achiever before he was born again. He was considered a top Jew because of his exploits, killing Christians. Till, he met Jesus. Everything about him changed. He became nothing; and all his boasting was in the Lord.

Earlier, hate constrained him to do what he thought was right. Till, God’s love constrained him to live for the truth. God’s love gave him the strength to do what would have been humanly impossible for him to pursue.

God is able in our lives when we are stable in faith. A mind and heart that is fixed on Jesus cannot waver. We are to grow into the perfection found in Christ alone.

May God help us grow from faith to faith, strength to strength and glory to glory in Jesus mighty name. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
