Give Thanks - A Nighttime Prayer

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

– 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV)

Please Pray:

Lord, life can be hard. Sometimes we hurt and don’t feel like giving thanks. However, we know at times we cause You to hurt and you may not feel like blessing us, yet You always do. You provide sunshine and rain, food and clothing, family and friends. We thank You for Your grace. We ask for special grace to help us through our times of sadness. And we thank You that You always use these times to strengthen us spiritually if we let You. And always–ALWAYS–we thank You for sending Your Son Jesus to take the punishment we deserve. In His name we pray. Amen.
