Giving God the Glory He Deserves Is The Best Way For Mankind - Raising Zion

The best way for mankind is to give glory to the only ONE who deserves it.
God alone.

We glorify God not because He demands it from us. It’s because it is the way it is. He is the creator, He is The Loving Father. He alone deserves the glory – He made all things possible.

If God was demanding, He would not have given us freewill. Also, He chose mostly the worst kind of people in the world to know Him.

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. (1 Corinthians 1:27-29).

The best way for mankind and all creation

What happened to those who tried to take God’s glory?

The anointed cherub desired the throne of God. He glorified himself as he was ministering to God, and was thrown out of heaven. The cherub was in the highest with God amidst all His glory. Yet, He chose to usurp God.

God humbled King Nebuchadnezzar because he gloried in the presence of God. Demanding people to worship him. God had blessed his kingdom, but he took all the glory. He became like the beast of the field. (Daniel 4:37)

King Herod (Acts 12:21-23) glorified himself instead of God and was killed by an angel. He was eaten by worms.

God chose unworthy people like us to glorify Himself. Truly there is none like Him.

Only God deserves all the glory, honour, power and praise! As believers let’s find ourselves worshipping Him alone, daily. United in spirit and in truth. The day of Christ is coming, Praise God and Amen.
