God's miracles to show His unfailing love
Most of us want to witness a miracle to remind us that, despite our pain and suffering, God is still there to remind us that He loves us so much.
Miracles are one of the reasons for us to hope in Him and wait as He rescues us from our problems.
Amidst the storms and brokenness, may we be reminded of God’s past wonders that have proven His genuine love for us. His miracles can be our light in the dark when we feel lonely and alone.
Moreover, remembering God's past works could help us see hope in our future.
God’s miracles are reminders that when things are already out of our control, God will intervene and show how His love and grace are great.
It will never stop if you are hopeless or feel pain in your heart. Maybe you just need to remember God’s miracles.
Understanding miracle
A miracle is an act attributed to supernatural forces, mainly God. Natural phenomena could not fully determine it.
Although many definitions of miracles are based on the Biblical perspective, miracles involve God doing something unnatural and usually awe-inspiring so He can reveal himself to humanity.
God’s miracles over nature
All kinds of miracles from God are incredible and impossible for humans to control. God’s ways are extraordinary in revealing His power to people.
One of His miracles to prove His unfailing love for us is through nature.
Creation of the world
The world is created through words. The Lord commanded to have light, and there was light. (Genesis 1)No one except our sovereign God could make something through their words alone.
When you look at the sky, have you ever wondered how clouds do not fall or how the water in the ocean evaporates to create rain?
Is it not amazing how God made everything so good before He created us?
Thus, God's creation of the world is one of His miracles to prove His love for us. Before He even made us, He had prepared everything we needed so we could have a perfect life.
Moreover, during His creation, He made humanity in His image to show our value and worth from the beginning.
Parting the Red Sea
When God parted the Red Sea, He did this for His people in Israel. (Exodus 14) God’s unfailing love will always find a way to save us from our suffering.
It is just one of the miracles that God did to save the Israelites under Moses' leadership.
So, when things seem impossible for you to get out of your pain and problems, remember how God parted the Red Sea to make things possible.
God is willing to move mountains for us because He is not deaf and blind to our cries.
Moreover, when He heard the cry of His people in Egypt, He responded to them.
Now that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you become God’s people. He will respond to your cry.
Survival from the lion’s den
No one could survive a hungry and wild lion in a den yet, but because God was pleased with Daniel’s faithfulness to Him, even the lion turned back.
Daniel 6:22 says, “My God sent his angel and shut the lions' mouths, and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm."
God’s unfailing love will protect you from the enemy, regardless of their strength and bravery. God is more than powerful enough to save us.
Thus, if God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31) We know we are protected from harm by God's amazing love.
Jonah survived the big fish
Surviving when a big fish swallows you is impossible, but Jonah did. Jonah 1:17 says He stayed in the fish’s belly for three days and three nights.
Jonah was supposed to go to Nineveh, a great city, to tell the people to turn from their evil ways and reconcile with the Lord.
Yet, Jonah escaped and went to Tarnish. God did not allow Jonah to disobey Him, so He commanded the big fish to swallow him so he could realize his mistakes.
Thus, God will redirect your ways and discipline you because He loves us.
He knew that when we disobeyed, it could bring us harm and distraction. His unconditional love gives Him reasons to protect us from danger.
Blessed Virgin Mary
Another miracle of nature that could prove God’s unfailing love is the birth of Jesus Christ by a virgin woman named Mary (Matthew 1:18-25).
God would want to use someone righteous and obedient to His commands to fulfill His promise of salvation.
His miracle of using a woman shows that He values the worth of women.
So, if you ever lose your self-esteem because you seek other people’s validation, this miracle that happened to Mary shows that God knows what you are capable of.
You must learn to love yourself, for God loves you unconditionally.
Miracles of provision
God’s unfailing love does not stop us from protecting and saving ourselves from our sufferings and sins.
Still, His unfailing love is so great that he shows miracles through provision.
If you are under God’s love, there is nothing you should worry about. Our Heavenly Father feeds even the birds in the sky who do not sow or reap.
How much more is there for us? We are God’s children.
Here are some miracles written in the Bible to show God’s provision.
Feeding the 5,000
Who could multiply five loaves and two fish to feed five thousand people? There is no one but God.
In John 6:1-24, there was a large crowd following Jesus Christ. Jesus lifted up the five loaves and fish to the sky and prayed to God.
It was a miracle that all 5,000 people were satisfied. Also, there were 12 baskets left, enough for the disciples to take home.
God’s unfailing love could multiply what we have if we present it to Him with thanksgiving.
We will never lack anything under God’s amazing love.
Raining manna
“Then the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not.” - Exodus 16:4
Imagine being in the wilderness and having no source of food. But, with God’s unfailing love, He would rain bread on you so you wouldn't get hungry.
Remember this miracle that happened many years ago when you felt like no one else could help you with your needs? God never changes yesterday, today, or tomorrow.
It may not be the same way that He would rain money on you, but He will have a unique way to help us in times of need.
Nothing can separate us from God’s love
Remember that nothing could ever separate us from God’s love when we feel down and hopeless.
Romans 8:38-39 says, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
God’s unfailing love is all we need to enjoy life amidst our circumstances and struggles. In Him, we are satisfied.
