6 Occasions for Positive Experiences:

Good just happens, it really does so stumble across it.
You will find good if you look for it. The problem with our negative bias is that we tend to ignore the good.
Use your 5 senses and seek out sensual pleasure. See, hear, smell and taste good stuff.
Beauty is out there. Seek out the beauty around you.
Most positive experiences are mild good feelings. But seeing the good around you is an important sensual, experience, see good is an elemental physical pleasure.

Look for Good facts.
Experience calming of the body as you see and experience the good. Have the Faith to see the miracles that good provides.
Philippians 4:8
Finally brethren whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right whatever is pure, whatever is lovely whatever is of good repute if there is any excellence and anything worthy of praise let your mind dwell on these things.

Recall a good fact.
Think about something good that has happened, call up a good experience.
Isaiah 54: 10
… But My loving kindness will not be removed from you…

Create good facts. Do something, learn, push yourself to make good, do good, be proactive in making good happen.

Pray, meditate, activate a good fact.

Imagine a good fact that never was.
This may be pushing things but push away the negative by imagining how the good could take its place.

Treat yourself like you matter.
You do matter. Treat yourself and circumstance in a positive way.
