HINDRANCES TO PRAYER AND FASTING
- Uncofessed Sin (1 Sam. 7.6, 11Chro. 7:14, James4:2-3) Ps. 66:18, 1Sam. 7:6, 1Jn1:9
- Un believing Heart/spirit – Mark 11:23
- Lack of love – Gal 6:2, I Jn. 3:22-23, Acts 14:23, 20; Isaiah 58
- Idols in the Heart – Ezekiel 14:1-4, Joel 2:12-15, Colossian 3:5, Ephesians5:3-5, 1Cor. 10:7
- Unforgiving Spirit – Mark 11:25
- Deaf ear to the cry of the poor – Prov. 21:13, Isaiah 58:6-9.
- Marriage problems 1 peter 3:7 You must be able to abstain from sex during fasting Cor.7:5
- Disobedience to God’s word – Prov 28:9, 1jn. 5:14-15, 1Sam. 7:4-7, Joel 7:6-9, 1 Sam. 15-22
- Opposing God’s saints Ps 18:40-41, Num. 16, Act 23:12-21.
- Disrespecting God – Heb. 5:7
