How to be successful on your project - Christian Personal Development

How to be successful in life especially on a task or on your project is the focus of my teaching and post today.  Of course, there are many principles of success that can help you achieve success on a project but as usual, I will be looking at one of them here today.

Biblical definition of success

The biblical definition of success is as simple as the way God defined it for Joshua when it was time for him to take over the mantle of leadership from Moses. Let’s look at it below:

Joshua 1:8

[8]This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

God gave what is a comprehensive definition of Christian success in that passage. Good success on a project is dependent on how you are able know, understand and apply the content of the Word of God.

Now, with reference to the theme of this post, how to be successful on a project is going to be explained using the rules and regulations in the Word of God as a guide. I believe strongly that I have been able to set a good foundation for what I am teaching in this post.

How to be successful: Success is first within

How to be successful on your project is all about first achieving success on that project from within you. Success is first within and then without.

If you find yourself struggling to achieve success on a task, you need to pause and check if you have achieved that success within first.

Most people try to bypass this important principle for achieving success on a task or project or mission. You have to first be it within before you can be it without.

How to be successful: How Jesus taught it

What you become within will always be what you will be without.Jesus, the Master Teacher shared great information about this great principle:

Matthew 12:33-35

[33]“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.
[34]Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
[35]A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.”

When a tree is good, the fruit will surely come out good. When you are filled with your success story on that task within, you will surely produce the physical equivalent of the success story. I see a book project first within before I begin to write.

How to be successful on a project: Get the right information

Your duty is to ensure you put the right content or information into yourself about that task. When you’re filled with it, you will surely achieve the required success on the task.

God’s Word as we have it in the bible is filled with the right content or information for you to achieve success on any task.
