How To Be When Your Family Is Against You? - Raising Zion

when your family is against you

Prophet Jeremiah complains in prayer to God about the wicked who are plotting against him. He asks God how is it that the wicked get to enjoy this world when he has to suffer the drought.

God rebukes Jeremiah for complaining. God questions Jeremiahs faith and patience. When in little trials we so easily faint what will happen when we face harder ones? God reminds Jeremiah how his own household are ungrateful and unfaithful to him. Scheming and plotting against him. God reminds him not to believe their lies. But to trust in God’s leading alone.

Look at Jesus when your family is against you

Dear brother, sister in Christ, are you going through tough trials? Receive the patience of the Lord during this time. In your patience save your soul. God has not left you. He is right there with you, carrying you during this time of testing. Suffering teaches us obedience and patience. Increases our faith making it more precious than gold. Trust God. He will see your through.

There will be people in our own homes scheming against us. Be aware. Keep praising God. He will expose them all in time and give you the victory you need.

Jesus never stopped doing the Father’s will just because His family, disciple, followers, etc. went against Him.

Prepare your heart in Jesus. Maranatha, praise God and Amen.

If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan? For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.

jeremiah 12:5,6
