TEXT: GENESIS 39: 1-END, HEBREWS 4:14-16, HEBREWS 5:7-9

INTRODUCTION:- Temptations can be defined as tests/trials which God allows the devil to brings to us as Christians to prove our levels of obedience, love and trust inn our temptation come in different shades and forms.

They can bring worries, guilt especially when one falls into the temptations of the devil. If one is able to stand the test, peace, promotion and blessings attend one’s way.

Perhaps nothing so persistently plagues Christian like temptation. So many saints before Christ Jesus Himself battled with temptation just as we also do today. In Genesis 39, we observe Joseph’s struggle and victory over temptations which, led to a crucial role he played in Israel history.

May the grace to overcome temptation and stand firm for Jesus be poured on us today in Jesus name. Amen.!
