How to tell if a teacher or preacher is not spiritual

In Exodus 3:6, Moses was afraid to look at God. Hagar marveled that she had an encounter with God and was still living. (Genesis 16:13). Jacob said the same. (Genesis 32:30). But Beth Moore claims that Jesus tells her all sorts of things, calls her ‘Babe’, speaks so casually to her in all their informal chats, where she and God “had a blast.” No.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom… and since people like Moore, not just celebrity preachers but many lay-people, have no fear, she lacks wisdom. Too many people have lost their fear of God for who He actually is and have lost their notion of how evil evil really is. Even have lost their definition of evil. Too many people think a Hitler-Holocaust level is the only evil. They think evil has to look black and be immediately recognizable. Saran is cleverer than that. He is the most subtle creature in the garden. He sends a smiling and seemingly kindly Joel Osteen to do his evil.

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

Evil is adding to God’s word – which is an abomination to Him. He warned in both the Old Testament AND the New not to do it.

Revelation 22:18 promises PLAGUES to the person who adds to His word! It’s evil, ladies, evil, to do that! Even if the teacher or preacher smiles and seems kind when they’re relating the latest communiqué from “Jesus”, they are performing evil when they do so, because they’re adding to or taking away from his word. And claiming direct revelation is evil. I’m talking to you, Joanna Gaines…Jennie Allen…Beth Moore…Sarah Young…

I want ladies to understand also just how EVIL it is not just when adding or taking away from His word, but also when a person claims to have a relationship with Jesus but disobeys what He says to do or not do. And how evil it is when she reduces Him to a buddy boyfriend she is in love with. The Bible shows Jesus as King, as Ancient of Days, as Creator of the universe and upholder of it. As holy, as Sovereign on His throne, Captain of Souls, Wrath and Justice. For a person to fail to relate to Him as He is and to re-make Him in her own pet image is entirely evil.

1 Corinthians 14:37 says as Paul concludes why women may not preach to men or usurp male authority,

If anyone thinks that he is a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize that the things which I write to you are the Lord’s commandment.

Evil might look pleasant to the eye (as the fruit did to Eve) but there is putrid poison behind it.

In other words, spiritual people recognize that the word of God is a command that must be binding upon their conscience, and they obey. Beth Moore and others such as Jennie Allen or Christine Caine etc. do not obey it, therefore the opposite holds true: they are not spiritual. Avoid them.
