In the last days the wheat grows with the tares - Raising Zion
What is happening in the house of God these last days? The enemy is sowing tares. When does the enemy, the devil, able to sow tares? When we are asleep.
The enemy sows tares when we bend or break the discipline or standards we learn by grace.
Carried away by our selfish desires, and worldliness, the devil takes advantage of our lack of spiritual growth. He floods our minds and hearts with evil and wicked thoughts.
The wheat grows with the tares because God is patiently waiting for people to repent
In the house of God, two groups of believers exist. One that will be gathered by Jesus. Another that will be thrown into the fire. On the day of harvest, God will separate the wheat from the tares.
For the rapture, there will be a church that will be caught up with Jesus, the remaining will face the anti-christ. Those who repent now, and walk in the light, will escape the tribulation.
Till then, we need to stay faithful. All kinds of evil will persist to divide believers in the house of God. The call of the hour is to walk in obedience.
A teenager shared her concern about not having saved a single soul so far. A common thought process that invades young believers. Making them feel useless and unworthy for the kingdom of God. She compared herself to her grandfather who was still saving souls in his old age. She was reminded about how obedience is better than sacrifice. No matter how many souls we win for Christ, our obedience to His word is of utmost importance. Paul reminds young Timothy to continue as exemplary believers, in doctrinal truth. So those who watch him may be saved as well.
In a time where wheat and tares grow together being an example is the greatest challenge. The answer is to look at Jesus. He is the author and finisher of our faith. He will guide us till the very end. Jesus is forever faithful. Jesus is coming for His own. Maranatha, praise God and amen!
