IT’S TIME TO REASSESS THE CHARISMATIC COMPOUND

I have been following the unsettling exposures within the IHOPKC community and watching the ongoing dialogue on social media (primarily on “X”). The raw emotions shared, and disillusionment expressed by many students and former members, are painful to watch. I know it grieves the Lord’s heart. I’ve never sought to take sides, simply to discern the truth. I want to learn what the Lord is showing us, not only about our present situation, but about our past – as well as our future. And as much as I respect and honor many of the spiritual fathers and mothers who have gone before, I cannot help but see a huge disconnect with the future generation and a drastic need for change. What follows is simply my own heart process – as one who longs for something better…

    ONLY AS LONG AS WE ALLOW IT…

    We know by default that this is a spiritual battle. The enemy loves to divide and conquer. He knows what happens when we splinter and fall back due to weariness and discouragement. This is why I have been seeking the Lord and asking how we can cut through the muck and rally for a cause we can all agree upon. The fact is, until our hearts are united by a common conviction, our corporate authority will be weakened, our prayers will be hindered, and the process of healing and reformation will take much longer.

    HEAVEN’S HOST IS PULLING FOR US TO COME UP AND COME OUT!

    ...I then saw in my spirit a vision of the host of heaven before His throne. They were all facing our direction and pulling on heavy duty ropes that were attached to all of us down below. As if playing a massive tug of war, they were all pulling together to bring the people of God up to the throne. The pull was so strong, they were all leaning back from the weight. They were determined to bring us up to the throne of grace where Holiness was found.

    I STILL BELIEVE

    Even as our experiences are examined and our encounters are scrutinized, I still believe in a miraculous God. He moves without permission and shows Himself without consent. He is bigger than our setbacks and far more powerful than our persecutors. Even as the enemy seeks to discredit His rule and censure His power, my God will never stop being God. Yes, we are being tested and have been found wanting. But our God does not lack. He is more than enough to bring us out of these pits and breathe life into these dead bones once again.

    ARE COUNTERFEIT MIRACLES FAKE – OR ACTUAL WORKS OF DARKNESS?

    We are not just dealing with compromised leaders who are causing physical and emotional harm to innocent victims. We are dealing with demonic powers that are working through compromised vessels in hopes of bringing great deception and darkness into the middle of our congregations and fellowships. The reason we are being warned is because signs, wonders, and miracles are very real. This is why Satan tries to copy them. And this is why we must look beyond the sign itself, and consider the direction it points us.
