Jesus Chose a Woman - A Nighttime Prayer

"Jesus said to her, 'Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?' Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, 'Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.' Jesus said to her, 'Mary.' She turned and said to him in Aramaic, 'Rabboni!' (which means Teacher)." —John 20:15-16 (ESV)

Please Pray:

Dear Jesus, thank you for choosing the Cross so that I am made new and so the Holy Spirit could dwell within me. I yearn to hear your voice. Help me to listen to you and see you working within my midst. Be my companion through all of my ups and downs. May I recall your mighty deeds, not only this Easter Sunday but every day of my life. In Your Mighty Name, Amen.
