Jewish vs Christian Worship

A key difference between Jewish and Christian worship lies in fellowship. Orthodox Jews: • Meet to worship three times a day • Visit synagogues anytime to find people studying scriptures together • Begin each day with communal worship and scripture study at sunrise • Gather again for worship and community after sunset The impact? They become family. Daily shared worship and study forge deep, lasting bonds.Even though there are differnt opinions and levels of observance (Orthodox, liberal), they worship daily side by side, as a family. Scripture says exactly that ‘They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.’ – Acts 2:42’ Every church should be open every day for morning and evening worship. This should be the norm: Unity does not come from grand conversations or big ecumenical meetings, but from returning to our roots of fellowship and worship.
