Let’s Not Emasculate Men!

I firmly encourage you to please stop emasculating men, if this is what you are doing. Whatever women lack in physical strength, some make up for with sharp tongues, which they use to hurt others. Although verbal abuse is not deadly in that it is not physical abuse and cannot cause bodily harm, it is still very harmful.

1.) Some women make it a point to publicly embarrass their men. Instead of taking their men aside and speaking discreetly to them about sensitive topics, they put it on blast for others to see and hear. This can cause men to feel humiliated and ashamed. This is wrong.

2.) Some women are very disrespectful in tone of voice and in the things that they say to their men. The truth of the matter is, men thrive off of respect. If it’s so hard for a woman to respect her boyfriend, or if she believes that he is not respectable, perhaps it’s time to move on, rather than emasculate him.

3.) Some women mock and make fun of hard-working men because they do not make six or seven figures. This is wrong and very shallow.

4.) There are women who are rejecting of decent guys, in favor of toxic, dangerous men. They believe toxic men are exciting! Some even have a belittling attitude toward the decent men, believing that they are less masculine, and even boring, compared to dangerous men.

5.) Plenty women mock and make fun of male virgins. Some claim they want men with sexual “experience.” They don’t understand that quantity does not mean quality or true experience. Then, some complain that men are promiscuous. Yet, some are wary of and mock men who are virgins.

Make it make sense. It doesn’t make any sense. The best kind of experience is aquired when a couple is married, in love and they learn how to please each other over time.

6.) Some women tear men down about their appearances, including various physical attributes of theirs. This is very cruel and can have lasting, even life-long effects on certain men.

Do women want men mocking them, telling them they are not pretty or aren’t as pretty as the next woman? No.

Do women want men picking on their breast sizes? No. So, why would it be okay to pick on men for physical characteristics that they can’t do anything about? It isn’t ok.

Tearing people down otherwise and making fun of their physical characteristics is emotionally and verbally abusive.

These are just a few examples of how some women emasculate men. This post is to encourage women who do these things, to do better. We must give respect if we want to receive respect.

It is important to treat others the way we want to be treated. It is important not to negatively influence men. It is important to not add to the sizeable number of men who are already bitter and enraged at women in general.

Rightfully so, many women complain about and expose their physical abuse at the hands of their men. It is also important that we make sure as women, that we are not abusing men- whether physically, verbally or in any other kind of way. It is good to practice the Golden Rule across the board with all people.

“Do to others as you would like them to do to you. If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them!”

Luke: 6: 31-32.

Sehnsucht in the Blue Ridge Mountains — Nicole O'Meara

Sehnsucht is hard to put into words, as can be seen in my painfully limited ability to describe what I felt at a vista in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Some call it joy. Some called it wistful longing for something you can’t explain. It has been called melancholy and nostalgia. It is all of that, and mo
