New Investigative Film Explores Pinpointing Where Moses Received the Ten Commandments
ORLANDO, Florida -- Award-winning filmmaker Tim Mahoney has spent a generation exploring some of the Bible’s biggest questions and how they correlate to our world today. His adventures have taken him all over the world as he has interviewed some of the greatest Bible scholars, archeologists, and historians all in a quest to find undeniable proof that the events in the Bible are reliable, accurate, and true.
In his latest film, Patterns of Evidence: Journey to Mt. Sinai II, Mahoney uses something called the Mount Sinai scorecard to unravel the mystery of where God actually gave Moses the Ten Commandments. In the process, he unveils an unmistakable pattern of evidence to reveal the most likely place that this highly regarded Old Testament prophet and the Israelites worshiped God.
I recently sat down with Mahoney to discuss why archeology should be of vital importance to Christians, the specific evidence he found to support his exploration, and how the power of God in sustaining the children of Israel during this foundational biblical event can be applied to our culture today.
