Open Wide Your Mouth and God will fill It | HealthWealthVictory
Today’s Responsorial Psalm from my daily mass really touched me. It talked about God knowing our deepest needs and desires and desiring to fulfill them. We have only to open wide our mouth and God will fill it.
If only we would listen to Him. And walk in His ways.
10 I, Yahweh, am your God, who brought you here from Egypt, you have only to open your mouth for me to fill it. 11 ‘My people would not listen to me, Israel would have none of me. 12 So I left them to their stubborn selves, to follow their own devices. 13 ‘If only my people would listen to me, if only Israel would walk in my ways, 14 at one stroke I would subdue their enemies, turn my hand against their opponents.
Psalms 81:10-11, 12-13, 14-15
Following our own devices
Dearest, I pray that I may always love You above all and walk in Your ways.
I never want to follow and work on my own devices. I don’t want to do things my own way
I want to do Your will always.
I was listening to an interview of Joel Osteen and he was asked that if all his works had been erased and it was time for him to go on from this earth but he could only leave 3 truths what would that be.
I know my 3 truths and lessons I want to leave behind:
- Love God with all your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit
- Love your neighbor as you love yourself
- Live for God. Do everything with God
When it comes down to it, it doesn’t matter if I fulfill all my dreams as long as I have You. Cause when I have You, Dearest, I have everything.
I just dream the dreams I have so I can leave something good when I pass away. So that I will be remembered for generations and not be forgotten.
I want residual passive income that’s more than my needs and even wants so I won’t have to think about money anymore. But just give to anyone in need. And give much to those I love and to those You inspire me to give to.
Open wide your mouth and God will fill it
But come to think of it, You work in amazing ways for people who love You and spend their lifetime loving You.
St. Teresa of Lisieux is a nun cloistered in a convent just seeking to love and live for You. She only wrote her autobiography “The Story of a Soul” in obedience to her superior. And now it has been spread all over the world for generations. I even read it and loved it, inspiring me to live for You,
St. Pedro Calungsud and St. Lorenzo Ruiz were missionaries, just assistants even but gave their lives for the cause they believe in, and now You’ve elevated them to sainthood long after they’ve passed away to be remembered by generations forever whose lives become an example for others to follow.
I want that more than anything, more than my dreams of wealth and prestige.
I just want to bless as I’m blessed.
I just also want to achieve these great big dreams so people will see that You have done all these things for me.
When I become a Trillionaire from nothing it will be such a public display of Your glory.
I just want that.
I want my life to display Your glory. Use me, Lord. Let Your glory shine through me.
So do in me what You must in order to do through me what You will.

Listening to God
This thought just came to me:
What If I publish my daily prayer journal on my blog? Publish my prayer reflections as inspired.
It will be my thoughts on a digital page and as long as my blog is live it will be there for the world to read and learn from. The lessons You have taught me I can share with them through my blog.
Instead of waiting once a week to publish an article, I’ll just publish as inspired. Hopefully, daily, my reflections from my time alone with You.
I’ll try that. Like Zen Habits. I like his blog. Simple and direct showing people how to live a zen life with zen habits.
Well, I want to show people how to live for You daily. Yeah. I can do that.
Thank You, Lord, for this inspiration.

Help me to always listen to You. I know that with You by my side, I have only to open my mouth, tell you my heart’s desires, my needs, and even wants, and You will fulfill them.
