Our Entrance to New Jerusalem Satisfies the Requirements of the Law

Revelation 21:12 tells us that New Jerusalem “had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel.”

New JerusalemThe fact that the twelve gates of the holy city are twelve pearls signifies that regeneration through the death-overcoming and life-secreting Christ is the entrance into the city. This entrance meets the requirements of the law as represented by Israel and as observed by the guarding angels. Hence, the pearl is the entrance into the city.*

Entrance into New Jerusalem is by regeneration. This regeneration is by the divine, eternal life entering into us. This life is the only life qualified to be in New Jerusalem. After regenerating us, this life, which is the life-giving Spirit, transforms us. Eventually this life will saturate our physical bodies and glorify us.

Eternally, this life, flowing out of the throne in New Jerusalem, is our supply, our joy, our peace, our health, our satisfaction, and so much more!
