PART 2: Twisting Out the Tension— Review of a Puzzlcrate Subscription - The DV Walking Wounded:

    SOURCE: http://puzzlcrate.com

I hope PART 1 intrigued you enough to consider “fiddling” with a “twisty” puzzle. There are SO MANY benefits!

Due to my love of hand-held “twisty” puzzles and my need to quell my anxiety, Puzzlcrate was gracious enough to allow me to try out a subscription box. Boy, oh boy, was that box filled with treasures! If you ARE thinking of “fiddling,” they DO offer a “beginner’s box!”

I constantly look at yard sales and thrift stores for new puzzles all of the time, so the fact that there was a subscription box available? SIGN. ME. UP.

My shipment I that received, very quickly, held: two puzzles, a cube carrying bag, cards about the details/backstory of the puzzles that I had received, and a decal of their logo. My cats weren’t as impressed with all of that, but adored the styrofoam packing peanuts! The packing materials have now mysteriously disappeared…

The puzzles were challenging ones I didn’t have and of a very good quality. Everything that I received can be viewed in the gallery on this post.

I think the multi colored clover cube is my favorite current obsession, but I’ll definitely be giving that mirror cube a workout soon! The clover cube is very easy to physically manipulate, but is challenging to solve! I love this and cannot wait until next month’s installment — BUT I’m occupied until then!

Want to see what it’s all about? Here are the monthly fees:

    • 12-month Subscription: $29.99/month
    • 6-month Subscription: $32.99/month
    • Month-to-month Subscription: $34.99
    • Gift Subscriptions are also available
    • Shipping is $2.99
    • All prices are USD

Once subscribed, your bank account would be debited between the 3rd to the 5th of the month (for whichever subscription you chose), with the box shipping between the 20th and the 25th of that month. Once you subscribe, your first box will contain a few extra goodies like mine did, as a welcome gift! After that, two puzzles per month with cards…oh, and the exciting packing peanuts my cats go for…FYI, keep the styrofoam peanuts away from the pets…they will end up ALL over your place! I’m now finding them in the darnedest places!

Great things to know is that this company was created by puzzlers for puzzlers. They have very unique and varied puzzle offerings each month, with two puzzles per box. Did you miss a month? You can order individual puzzles on their website. Didn’t like what was sent or it arrived damaged? Contact them and another puzzle will be shipped with no questions asked! Their customer service is friendly AND speedy. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee! Plus, this Cuber’s Honor – Risk Free policy can insure you get NO duplicates, but PLENTY of surprises! I adore unique puzzles!

So, what are you waiting for? Get to twisting! Be sure to subscribe and sign-up for their newsletter!

What does it mean to have childlike faith?

What do you think of when you hear the word “childlike?”For many of us, “childlike” might bring to mind something immature, foolish, or naive. Yet when Jesus talked about childlike faith, he wasn’t asking us to be any of these things. He was inviting us into something pure, trusting, and real. This week, I got to help lead worship at a kids' camp. Watching the kids worship was such a beautiful reminder of what childlike faith truly looks like. These kids worshiped, prayed, and talked about God.
