Peace is Not a Trophy — GRITANDFAVOR.COM

Peace is not a trophy you receive for victorious acts over fear. Peace is an act of complete surrender. It’s the byproduct of the abandonment of control. Peace doesn’t come because our to do list is finished. Peace doesn’t come because we have removed triggers and deleted people from our lives. Peace comes in whispered prayers of “I need you, Lord” and “I can’t do this alone”. In a world full of self help tricks and self care secrets… We must stop fighting for something that only requires us to be still.
