Personal growth is a choice. It’s a personal decision you must make. Nobody can decide for you. But those who want to grow must be ready to make a change.
Why personal growth is important
You cannot remain in the same position and grow. You must be ready to leave your circle of convenience. Change can be very painful but nothing can be as painful as staying in the same position for long without any improvement. Comfort zone mentality is an enemy of growth.

What is comfort zone?
Comfort zone, according to the dictionary, is a place you feel safe or comfortable especially when you choose to stay in this situation instead of trying to work harder and achieve more.
There is nothing comfortable in comfort zones. Staying in your comfort zone is self-imprisonment and bondage.
God frowns at one staying too long in the same position. He told the children of Israel that they had dwelt too long on the same mount. Deuteronomy 1.6.
Have you been enjoying your comfort zones?
How long have you been dwelling in the same position? Don’t you think it’s now time to make a change? Change can only be possible when you make a decision and take action.
People who stay in their comfort zones don’t know that there is a better life on the other side.
Fulfilling God-given destiny
Nobody stays in his or her comfort zone and fulfils destiny. God’s promises can never be realized in comfort zones.
Staying in your comfort zone limits God in your life. God says He will do a new thing in your life but God can’t do a new thing for someone who refuses to leave his or her comfort zone.
You are not created to remain in the same position. Doing the same thing over and over and getting the same result or no result at all is foolishness. Take a step of faith and leave your comfort.
