Introduction
Greetings, dear reader, on this platform. Today is Sunday, June 1, 2025, the first day of meteorological summer. All things, good or bad, must come to an end in this temporal world. Today is the time for this Appalachian Irishman to put to bed his platform on Crossmap Blogs.
Without concern or alarm, please know that I am still alive and kicking on my original platform. The conclusion invites you to visit me there.
The Appalachian Irishman Signs Off Today on Crossmap Blogs.
Prior to this entry, this platform's stories shows only three articles. On April 26, 2024, I started writing on this platform as an experiment. Twice, I republished articles from my original website. I hoped to reach a wider audience. To some degree, I did, and I connected with fellow Christians.
The Appalachian Irishman Is Still Awake and Active on His Original Platform!
Since my inaugural article from March 6, 2006, on my original platform, the Appalachian Irishman is still awake, active, and being viewed! It is still my public journal and commentary. For example, at 7:34 AM this morning, analytical data for my original website showed 370,361 all-time views. Last month, in which I published three articles, garnered 8,482 views from over 20 countries. That is an average of 273 views per day from last month.
As of May 24, 2025, I have published 526 articles on my original website. They are arranged in twenty topic sections. The website archive catalogs each article by year and month.
My original platform formats articles much better than those on this platform. Internally, analytical data show me the number of viewers from several nations that read which articles. Crossmap Blogs' analytical data is less informative.
Conclusion
I will not delete this platform. I will leave it as it is. My plan is to visit this platform now and then to see what may be new.
You, dear reader, are invited to visit my original Appalachian Irishman website. You may subscribe without cost by providing only your email address. The Contact Form allows you to email me directly. Analytical data on my original website does not show who has subscribed to my website. Your identity will not be known to me, unless you comment on an article by name, not anonymously, which is an option.
So, come on over! You are welcome to read, comment, and email me.
Remember, we are all pilgrims in this temporal world. We should each be traveling the same straight and narrow way, through salvation in Christ, to reach the goal of everlasting life in heaven.
As I sign off on this platform with the last article, I pray that you are on that way toward everlasting salvation.
