Renewing your mind in Christ is one of the most profitable exercises you can always undertake as a Christian. Why did I say that? 

You will find out in the Action Power Devotional for today. When you don’t renew your mind in Christ, you stand the risk of demonic manipulation even as a Christian!

Renewing your mind in Christ: New wine

New wine, new grace, new manifestation, new promotion, a new level of power, and new results only come to people with new minds and hearts. I want you to read the Bible passage below:

Mark 2:21-22

[21]No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear is made worse.

[22]And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.” 

Jesus said, “No one (no man) puts new wine into old wineskins;…” If no man will do that then why do you expect God to give you a new promotion, new grace, new level of power, and manifestation if you are still carrying the old thoughts in your mind and heart? 

Renewing your mind in Christ: Limited manifestation 

Many Christians are limited in manifestation as Christians because they have not voted for the renewing of their minds in Christ Jesus. 

There must be a new you on the inside before you’re taken to the new level by God. This is a very strong spiritual principle and revelation. 

God does not (and cannot) hand over the new level manifestation, breakthrough or success to you without you having a mind that is constantly renewed with the Word of God.

What does it mean to have your mind renewed in Christ? 

To have your mind renewed in Christ is to constantly expose your mind to the true contents in the Word of God. Only the truth can effectively get your mind renewed. That truth is found only in the Word of God.

Most Christians are active in church but they are bad students of the Word of God. You cannot do much as a Christian if you’re not a diligent student of the Word of God!

Paul instructed by inspiration this content: 

Romans 12:1-2

[1]I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. [2]And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Serve God with Spiritual Gifts

Study and increase in knowledge

Take a decision to read, study and increase in knowledge in the area of the vision God has given you. When you step up on the inside, He steps you up on the outside.
