Rise and fall of King Solomon

Rise and fall of King Solomon

Posted on June 24, 2012 Updated on June 24, 2012

The rise and fall of Solomon is a great lesson to all Christians, especially those in authority. If we forsake God, God will forsake us. If we reject God, he will cast us to the devil. God wrote the first chapters of Solomon’s life, but Satan wrote the concluding chapters.

One Bible commentator said that though Solomon was reputed to be the wisest man on earth that ever lived, yet he also became the most foolish man on earth that ever lived. It is unlikely that Solomon made heaven, because unlike the case of David, there is no biblical record of his repentance. What a tragedy.

For those of us alive, now is the best time to make our ways right with God so that the judgment of God would be in our favour. If you have never accepted the plans of God for you then you remained a fool in the league of Solomon. If you have backslide like Solomon, you have an opportunity to rewrite your history before you death.

Jesus is the way and the truth towards your salvation. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour today if you do not want your life to end in a tragedy like that of Solomon. Say this simple prayer: Jesus the son of God, I come to you today, just as I am. I confess that am a Sinner, I repent from my sins. and pray that you forgive me my sins by the mercy in your blood. I promise to go and sin no more. I invite the Holy Spirit to rule my life in Jesus name. I am born again.

Prayers
1. My destiny shall not be re written for evil in Jesus name.
2. I will not miss my destiny in Jesus name.

What the Angels Said — Carol McLeod Ministries

Angels are an intrinsic and dynamic part of the Christmas story. Christmas simply would not have occurred without these God-sent messengers from heaven. We don’t know if the angels were clothed in flowing, white robes, if they had a halo that sparkled, or even if they flew with wings into the Christ

    The Mall or the Manger?

Much has changed since the God of the universe decorated the night sky with the star of Bethlehem and directed the choir of angels in a chorus announcing the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. But the commercialism doesn’t have to rule in our hearts and homes. This year let’s focus on the Christ Child and remember the true meaning of the holiday season. As we turn our eyes to the Babe in the manger, we will not view Christmas as a dreaded obligation or a major retail event. It will be a time of joyous celebration, honoring the One Who came to give us eternal life and worshipping our Heavenly Father.
