Rise Up in the Name of Jesus
Good day beautiful people,
I hope that you’ve all had a blessed week thus far? Here is a short piece I’ve created to encourage us all during a time which many people refer to as the ‘winter blues’.
When you fall down don’t let guilt, self pity or shame keep you down! Rise up in the name of Jesus.
Imagine if Paul let guilt get the better of him because of his past mistakes. Imagine if he turned around and said ‘God no you can’t use me I’m the worse sinner of them all, I persecuted your followers and stood by in agreement with those who martyred Stephen and watched him being stoned to death’.
We wouldn’t have the majority of the New Testament scripture as we know it today. And the gospel may not have been spread as far as it did during Paul’s lifetime.
God wants to use you. Don’t let your pride get in the way! God is bigger than your guilty conscience.
