Genesis 3 vs. 1: The snake was the most cleaver of all wild animals that the Lord God had made. The snake wanted to trick the woman.
The snake spoke to the woman, “ Woman, did the Lord really tell you that you must not eat from any tree in the garden?”
- God gave man the power of choice. He gave Adam and Eve the choice to either eat the forbidden fruit and die or refrain from eating it and live.
Deut. 30 vs. 15: Today, I have given you a choice between life and death, good and evil.
- Down the ages, God has been placing man in the midst of alternatives.
- By divine arrangement, you are to determine which camp or territory you want to belong to in life.
- You must have a aim. There is no provision for aimlessness in destiny. Every aimless fellow will end up in the failure side. You must choose the right place to belong.
- If you don’t know how to choose right, you will find yourself in the suffering side of life.
- A man is the sum total of the choice he made by himself or he acquired from people.
- Every man should be responsible for the choice he made.
- Be careful the kind of choice you make, you either make it or lose by that choice.
- Your choice is powerful.
What is Choice?
- Choice is the right of choosing between alternatives, possibilities, and options.
- There is a problem- the anointing of negative choices is running in the blood of man.
- It is a tragedy for man to take a decision in a haste. When you take the wrong steps in life, a lot of things will go wrong.
- God doesn’t force anything on anyone, though he is the Lord of your life, he will never Lord on you.
- You decide what you want in life, God did not create robots. He gave us the power to decide
