All of the above is needed to start a business. My question is when you are given a vision and you don’t have the funds….what do you do? You are a tither and you give offerings, but the money needed to do the business you don’t have. What do you do?

For Christians, here it where faith works. Start any how! Take a step of faith and do something towards starting..as you proceed God will provide your needs,

This may look crazy but it has worked for me.

Dont stay on the same spot lamenting your poverty. Move out and believe the funds are there , as you start in faith the Good Lord will raise people and make a way to provide the funds.

Several years ago, i wanted to start a business and did not have funds to rent an office. I claimed an un used office I saw, and went in faith to meet the owner that he should allow me to use it until he needed it. Initially he refused but God intervened and said I could use it for free. Am still using it up till today.

If I had stayed at home without taking a step of faith, the money to rent the office might not have come until today.

Other ways that may work are:

    Raise a loan

Borrow, starting from your relations who may be willing to help you most..then friends

    Sell our ideas to others

    Lok for investors

Let me leave this thought with you. I have started a business. It was because I inquired of the Lord what he wanted me to do. I realize that there is a difference between what he wants me to do and what I want to do. Remember we are here to do the Fathers will in Jesus name. You must start with what you have in your hand. Remember Moses’s rod.

When you have the idea, God always says that He will supply our needs according to His riches in glory. You must believe this in your mind and heart. Whatever He tells you to do, do it!. Faithfully until he takes you to another level.

I would like to comment about a couple of posts here. One is to Chris. I would say you need to fast and seek God for His idea. I have been in that position, not knowing what I wanted to do. Not feeling a direction about any particular thing. That is a time to fast and separate yourself to a focus in the Word and to have greater quiet to hear God. Reading the Word is the primary way God speaks to us. If we are in the Word, we will hear from Him. But having a greater focus may require fasting.

My response to Helena Ross would be that we never have to be broke because we can always ask for seed to sow. The Word says that God will give seed to the sower. II Cor 9:10. I have lived alone without a job for 2.5yrs. That is only because God called me to that at this time. If I lack funds for needs or enjoyment, I ask for seed to sow. I’m a tither and give offerings, make vows and pay them and sow for increase. It works because it’s scriptural. So ask for seed to sow and then sow it.

To Pastor Babalobi, you are a great blessing. I have prayed for you. I wish I could contribute financially but am giving in various areas locally. But I appreciate your ministry very much and would love to give to you at some time. Thank you for all you do in the Kingdom. May God overflow you with His blessings and keep a wall of fire around you and your household.

I know this is an old post and I had responded to it before. What I want to say to anyone that doesn’t have a vision, do not ask the man of God to give you ideas. That is not his purpose. A servant of God is called to many things. How would he know what business God wants you to do? It is not his duty to seek God and pray for your vision. It is your duty. So focus on the Word and God will speak. Get quiet and listen to God. If you are Spirit filled, pray in the Spirit a lot about it. As I said previously, you may need to do some fasting and get real focused on hearing from God. But seek God for yourself. We are not to be dependent on others for what we need. We are to be dependent on God. The Bible says cursed is anyone who depends on man. Jeremiah 17:5. God bless you all. Rev Alena/Dallas, TX.

I’ve posted a few things here but I wanted to respond to another idea. I don’t believe that going in debt is generally God’s idea. If you borrow from anyone, it needs to really be a strong word from God. We are not to be debtors to anyone. So I’d really be sure you are to ask anyone for a loan, that being an institution or a relative. Money can separate the best of friends and in most situations I don’t think it’s scriptural since we are to owe noone anything but love.
