Soul Wounds - A Nighttime Prayer

    1x
Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to me: ‘Physician, heal yourself!’ And you will tell me, ‘Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.’” -- Luke 4:23

    Please Pray:

"Lord, I get so angry at all of the evil happening in the world. Even though I know You have already won the victory on our behalf, my faith falters. Fear creeps in and weakens my faith. I give angry responses to insults, lies told by others, and false accusations. Help thou my unbelief. Help me to cast out fear of the future. Help me to remember to respond like Jesus did. In Jesus' name, Amen."

          Sometimes Healing Takes Time

I like instant. I like brewed coffee in a minute or less. I like microwaved leftovers in 45 seconds or less. I like instant text, instant on-line shopping, and instant movies at the click of a button. I’m not a fan of process but would rather have immediate results. One of my favorite words in the New Testament is “immediately.” “Immediately they received their sight” (Matthew 20:34). Read more...
