Here’s to making Monday feel like Friday...
1. STOP talking about it. Thoughts become words. Words become actions. Actions become reality. Stop looking for a problem. Don’t post about it. Don’t even acknowledge it is coming. Some of y’all ruin your entire Sunday by dreading Monday.
2. Choose to find joy in knowing you get a chance to start over. To try again. A fresh start. To change or heal what was broken the week before. 52 new chances to get it right.
3. Practice gratitude. Like a lot of it.
4. Do all that you do for the glory of God. Loathing 1/7th of your life doesn’t give God glory.
5. Don’t let one bad moment become a bad day. When struggle strikes, let it strike. Call it exactly what it is. “Wow, that was one tough morning. Glad I still have the afternoon to make it better.” Was it a bad day or a bad 20 minutes. Stop giving difficulties compound interest. Retelling your entire day just to explain how awful it was… that ain’t cute. (I know because I do this too often )
