Genesis 20 vs 7.
Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.
- One of the duties of a prophet is to pray.
- One of the pieces of evidence of prophetic calling is prayer.
- A prophet must always pray and intercede for the people.
- In Genesis 20 vs 7, God advised King Abimelech to return Abraham’s wife, which he had forcefully taken over, after which Abraham shall pray for him so that he would not die.
- In verse 17, the Bible says Abraham prayed for Abimelech, and God healed him and delivered his wife, children, and maidservants from barrenness.
- The Church is a place of prayer. Every Church should be a praying church
- The ministers of God should be prayer warriors.
- Every pastor must be passionate about prayer.
- You may need to switch your Church, or the pastor is not praying.
Prayer
- I receive the spirit of prayer in Jesus’ name.
