The Golden Street is our One Way (2)

New Jerusalem is a city of gold. This gold represents the divine nature which we partake of in our experiences of the salvation we have received (2 Peter 1:4).

God’s divine nature is the unique regulation, and this is the way that we have to take and the street that we have to walk on. God’s divine nature is our way and our strength. I praise the Lord that in all the churches so many saints are not regulated by a written code but by the one golden street, which is the divine nature of God. Revelation 21:21 tells us that “the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.” If we take God’s nature as our unique way, we will be pure, without mixture, and transparent, without opaqueness.*

New JerusalemGalatians 3:1-5 presents a strong contrast between the works of law and the Spirit by faith. If we are living by a written code, we are living in the Old Testament environment—works (by our effort) of law. Instead, we should seek the things above (Col. 3:1) and take Christ as our life and as the moment by moment leading for our living.

When we take Christ as the Way for our living, we manifest Him. People whose inner eyes are open and whose hearts are soft toward God will notice this. In the next age and in eternity through New Jerusalem, everyone will see this manifestation very clearly.
