Matthew 16 vs 26

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

The most valuable possessions are not houses, though having a house on your head is good.
The most valuable possessions are not cars, though having cars to move you around is good.
The most valuable possession is not money, though money is a defence.
The most valuable possessions are not chains of companies, though it is good to have sources of income.
Jesus Christ said that a man’s soul is the most valuable possession, and when we are chasing other valuables, we must not do anything to lose our souls.
Matthew 16 vs 26 means that if you become the richest man in the world and are not saved, you are living a wasted life.
