Father, we praise you for your patience with knuckleheads like us. Thank you for conforming us to the image of Christ even when it hurts. Thank you for your ways, which are better than our ways. May we understand that quarreling and fighting come from proud, loud hearts that struggle with your authority. Quiet us. Humble us. We pray in Jesus’s Name, Amen.
