The Problem with Pride - A Nighttime Prayer

1x
Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall. -- Proverbs 16:18 (NKJV)

Please Pray:

Father God, personal pride is something I have always struggled with. The world tells me that I should feel worthy of what I accomplish and everything I count as gain in my life. Yet, I realize that I must be humble with an open heart, willing to serve others, giving of myself, and have the ability to listen without being boastful in my responses. I ask you humbly today to help me to experience joy and fulfill my purpose as I seek to help others prosper in their daily walk. Be my strength and be my guide as I pursue this each and every day. In Your Name I pray, Amen.
