To the One Who Stays…(a free printable!)

There are a lot of emotions that come with an empty nest.  Women process it differently than men, and our emotions can cause a man to wonder what the remaining years will bring.

Here’s my message to the man that God blessed me with 31 years ago.

You joke about it, but let me assure you:

You did not marry “above your head”– I am the luckiest girl in the world.

I am not “stuck” with you now that all the kids have grown and left our little nest–our hearts were super-glued together a long time ago… 

I look forward to growing old together--gray hair or no hair, in sickness and in health.

And because you still tell me I’m beautiful– I am grateful you need reading glasses. :0)

And, YES, I still adore you.  You make me smile.  You inspire me.  You amaze me.

Oh, and by the way, in case you were wondering…
