Transferring the Debt: Finding Freedom in Forgiving - A Nighttime Prayer

1x
Against you, you only, have I sinned …  -- Psalm 51:4

Please Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your Son to pay the price for my sins. Thank you that as far as the east is from the west, so far do You remove our transgressions from us (see Psalm 103:12). I am free because of Your grace and mercy toward me and not because of anything I have done to earn it. Now I want to release everyone I’ve been withholding forgiveness from into your debt, not mine. Help me forgive them from my heart. Make me into the image of your Son when He prayed from the cross, "Father forgive them" (Luke 23:34). In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
